OUR MISSION Our mission is to provide compassionate, exemplary medical care for your companion dogs and cats. We strive to reduce animal suffering, and by doing so, improve the lives of the people who love them- by enabling their pet to live a longer, healthier life. MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Susan N. Whitmore started the clinic in 1981. She graduated from Colorado State University and was elected to the honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She has been a member and past president of the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine. In 2001, she received an award for Colorado Veterinarian of the Year. Dr Whitmore is married to Don Whitmore and the parent of one daughter, Rachel.

Dr Melissa Schaal has been an integral part of Companion Animal Clinic since 1999. She graduated form the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine with honors. Dr Schaal practiced in a mixed animal practice, before moving to Colorado Dr. Schaal is married with two young children.
